Exploring the Insane World of Colleen Hoover (Part 1)
Hey guys welcome back to the channel! Today we're going to be looking at tik tok's most popular and controversial author, Colleen Hoover. Since 2021 Colleen Hoover and her catalouge of books have been EVERYWHERE on the internet but especially on booktok where it's borderline impossible to go on there without seeing a copy of It Ends With Us, Verity or Ugly Love. I've always been a bit of a spectator on the Colleen Hoover conversation since I had never read any of her books for myself but recently I thought it would be fun to give myself a bit of a challenge and enroll myself in Colleen Hoover boot camp if you will. So I went through a bunch of lists on the best and craziest Coho books to get a mix of five books that I've read to get a good idea of her world that we're going to read through together!
Originally I was just planning to cover all five books in one video but I realized as I was going through the process that there was way too much I wanted to cover in each book to be able to fit it all without it being all over the place so instead I've broken it up into three parts. In today's video we'll be looking at easily Colleen's most controversial book, Ugly Love, I know it (and I'm sure some of you guys do too) for that one ball-related line but I wanted to actually read it for myself to see what really goes on in this thing lol. In the second part we'll be covering Colleen's most popular book by far, It Ends With Us, as well as another book I saw a lot of fans of Colleen claim is a sleeper hit, All Your Perfects. Then finally in the third part, we'll be covering November 9 as well as her only non romance book (a thriller/romance), Verity.
Some of you guys might know it's been a MINUTE since I've done a video like this so it was definitely nostalgic in a weird way lol.
