South Bay Cinemas opened it's doors on June 28th, 1967, but to be more correct, it became South Bay Cinemas on May 21st, 1975. In late 2016, this movie theatre closed it's doors for renovations but... to this day, the theatre stands still and has very minimal work done inside. In early 2018, workers demolished the inside lobby and the seats were removed. But since then, nothing has been done, even though a "Deal" was finalized. We decided to take a look inside and see what "progress" has been made. I wonder when this place will be demolished because I'm sure they will never finish those "planned renovations".
