The rugged cliffs, waterfalls, and natural landscape of Nelson-Kennedy Ledges State Park provides a thrilling experience for visitors of all ages. The park's spectacular rock formations—formed in a rock unit called Sharon Conglomerate—offer evidence of a dynamic natural history. Hikers will enjoy trails that take them to striking scenic features with intriguing names, including Devil's Icebox and Goldhunter’s Cave. ODNR geologists JD Stucker and Andy Nash briefly explain Nelson-Kennedy Ledges is a must-see destination for Ohio geology.
