After searching google maps to find spots to explore Jesse found a great spot not too far away. Searching for areas to forage for mushrooms we thought this would be a great spot to try. After solving a huge problem we gained access and it turned out to be a beautyful place with many 200-300year old trees in it. This area will be a great spot for resources like fatwood, mushrooms, bowdrill kits, berries and many other natural resources . We found evidence of berries in some scat we found. We ate a great lunch and passed many kilometres under our feet. We will be back to that spot soon.
