In English, it's very common to use filler words like "um", "like" and "well" to add a little bit of character to a conversation or to allow for a more graceful pause. But did you know that we do the same in English? These filler words don't really mean anything!

English grammar makes it pretty obvious when someone is asking you a question. But in French, it isnât always as clear.
