This video explains how the Ensemble Post Processor (EnsPost) in the Hydrologic Ensemble Service (HEFS) short-term probabilistic guidance adjusts an ensemble of streamflow forecasts to account for the hydrological modeling uncertainties and to correct for biases that are caused by the hydrological modeling. The end product is an ensemble of adjusted streamflow forecasts that are less biased and properly account for the uncertainties in the hydrological modeling. This is the third in a set of three videos introducing the purpose and benefits of the HEFS. This video series is available as a training module on the MetEd site at:
