In this video, I show some experiments in filling the oil vials in two kinds of in-line air tool oilers, specifically the "Tru-Flate (Amflo)" model 41-101 oiler and the (apparently newer) brandless/generic model L102N oiler. The former was reportedly originally produced by Plews & Edelmann of Dixon, Illinois, and then the product line was sold to Highline Warren of Memphis, Tennessee. Highline Warren currently lists the second model (L102N) as if it were the 41-101, which is confusing, while it is sold by hundreds of different retailers as the brandless/generic model L102N.
I have tried several schemes for re-oiling these products, with the goal of making as little mess as possible.
