One question is how to dry a completely wet comic book cover so that it doesn't shrink when dried.
Thanks to Jerry the Jitterbug (@jerrythejitterbugcomicbook4098 ) I have been adapting his idea to place the book between two sheets of solid material to dry under pressure.
It does prevent shrinkage but requires a long duration (12-24 hours) to dry and dries from the outside edges inwards, so can be uneven.
This experiment uses a flat acrylic drying panel with small holes drilled in it. It allows for faster and more even drying.
