The "Justice League: Battle for Metropolis" ride is an interactive dark ride experience where guests join the Justice League Reserve Team to help rescue captured superheroes. The ride uses motion-based vehicles and stun guns to allow riders to interact with screens and physical targets throughout the experience.
Storyline: The Joker and Lex Luthor have teamed up, captured several Justice League members (including Supergirl, The Flash, and Green Lantern), and plan to infect Metropolis with laughing gas.
Interactivity: Riders use laser stun guns to shoot at digital and practical targets to score points and thwart the villains' plans.
Technology: The ride incorporates 3D screens (though some parks like Six Flags Great America have removed the 3D glasses as of late 2022) and physical sets, along with special effects like fog, wind, and fire.
Location: The attraction is installed at multiple Six Flags locations, including Six Flags Over Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Great America, Six Flags Great Adventure, Six Flags Over Georgia, and Six Flags Magic Mountain
