A joint QinetiQ-Inzpire team delivered Exercise Sharpshooter in March 2025, a training exercise at sea designed to improve a ship crew’s response and ensure operational readiness for a wide range of evolving surface and aerial threats, similar to those they could encounter on deployment.

Conducted 20 miles off the coast, within the Cardigan Bay Danger Area which is part of the Ministry of Defence Aberporth Range. The QinetiQ team based at the Aberporth Range manage the overall Range capability and provided the support to this training exercise under the Long-Term Partnering Agreement.
