Queen Elizabeth II was said to be a firm believer in ghosts, especially those haunting royal castles. Ahead of the fourth anniversary of the queen's passing on September 8, 2022, RadarOnline.com revisits her belief in the paranormal. Daphne Plowman, a former investigator with the Scottish Society for Psychical Research, spoke about the queen's fascination with ghosts. She revealed, 'The Queen is especially interested in royal ghosts.' Plowman continued, 'She accepts them as part of the family – as indeed many of them were hundreds of years ago.' A couple of years ago, the queen personally pardoned a soldier who fled his post at Windsor Castle after seeing a ghost. The soldier was charged with being absent from his post after encountering the supernatural. The Queen reportedly met the ghost of Dorothy Walpole, an English noblewoman from the 18th century.
