Recently a news story circulated detailing a PlayStation job listing that seemed to indicate Sony will be pursuing more multi-platform releases. The internet’s reaction to this has been about as extreme as you would expect, and has led to a lot of conversation about the future of games. One layer of this that has been bugging me is a growing subset of people who think exclusive games no longer matter, or have no value. It’s something that I very much disagree with, and it’s what I’d like to talk about today.
