The Qidi X-Smart printers may be the best 3d printer available to beginners to get started with 3d printing. Since Qidi provides an integrated environment which includes both the printer and the slicer software, it is much easier to get started than environments where you need to install a third-party slicer and integrate it with your machine. The inclusion of wifi support with the ability to print right from the slicer (Qidi-Print) adds to the appeal of this device.
Additionally, it is unusual to find a 3d printer at $400 or less that includes a fully enclosed print area suitable for printing ABS.
Finally, I love the spring steel print surface. Prints always stuck and then released when the print plate cooled to room temperature.
