There are few videogame finales that match up to the pulse pounding ending sequence Bungie included in Halo: Combat Evolved’s final level, The Maw.
While it may be a revisit of The Pillar of Autumn from the beginning of the Halo: Combat Evolved's campaign, The Maw offers up a very different experience - an experience which concludes with one of my favourite sequences in any Halo title.
But amazing ending or not, we must still ask the question – does that quality extend to the rest of the level?
