Critical Issues Commentary | Examining Fervent by Priscilla Shirer, Part 1 – Suppositions or Scripture? @CICministry | Uploaded May 2022 | Updated October 2024, 1 day ago.
In her book "Fervent" Priscilla Shirer describes 10 strategies that she claims Satan uses against us based on what she would do if she were our enemy. We show that we cannot assume that Shirer’s suppositions are true and that we do not need to know the mind of Satan to pray effectively. We need to believe the promises of God and “draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” (Hebrews 4:16)
