On December 2nd, 2022, officers conducted a welfare check at a property following reports from locals about a young child living in squalid conditions. Those reports would end up being correct, the home wasn't fit for humans to live in & it reeked of urine.
When police made contact with the occupants, they refused to co-operate & responders had to forcefully remove them, in order take them to hospital because of their frail appearance.
While there, they were questioned about the welfare of the child in their custody, but again refused to co-operate. It's this action that ultimately leads to the social services & the police discovering a disturbing secret.
