I am an atheist who was not raised in a religious household or community. I found that I am quite interested in the stories of individuals who journey from a quite fundamental religious upbringing and background, to no longer believing and hence being an atheist.
I find them often to be quite authentic and fascinating. Most people who read this probably already know Evid3nc3, but I wanted to communicate my enthusiasm for what he's been doing and perhaps encourage anyone who hasn't yet to jump over and check out his deconversion series.
It is, as far as I'm concerned, like striking a vein of gold in my search to find an in-depth account of the intellectual, social and emotional journey of a true fundamental believer becoming an atheist.
