Everyone told me Jaisalmer is expensive — flights, hotels, desert stays, everything.

Truth?

It’s only expensive if you travel without a plan 😌

Booked my flight one day late and watched the price jump from ₹24k to ₹54k 🥲

Learn from my mistake pls.

This is how I explored Jaisalmer in 4 days on a budget (perfect for winter travel):

Day 1: Arrive in Jaisalmer → hotel check-in & brunch → explore Jaisalmer Fort (the Living Fort) → visit the Jain temples inside the fort → head to Patwon Ki Haveli → end the day with sunset at Gadisar Lake

Day 2: Slow morning & brunch → drive towards Sam Sand Dunes → stop for leather shopping en route → desert resort check-in → enjoy sunset views → optional camel ride → cultural folk night with dinner

Day 3: Early morning jeep safari → desert sunrise + chai & Maggi → check-out → visit Lodurva Jain Temple → explore Kuldhara ghost village → evening check-in at a boutique hotel with fort views

Day 4: Relaxed breakfast with fort views → last-minute local shopping → departure
