That's Groupthink. In Commander, it's easy to let the first confident opinion become the table's opinion, especially when that person has a reputation for being good at the game.
Before you follow the table, ask yourself: if nobody had said anything, would I still make this play?
The most dangerous threat isn't always the one everyone's talking about.
