When I should be working on homework and studying for my exam, but I want to get this description typed before August and September blur into one. XD

August started with some very, very long days. I asked off the 4th-7th to go to a convention with my brother, so I was scheduled most of my hours in the 1st-3rd. I worked 24 hours within a 36 hour time period on Tuesday/Wednesday. X'D (and then I had 8 hours on Monday too). I literally got home and passed out, then got up super early to drive to my brother's place because we figured it would be easier for me to stay with him and cut out extra driving.

We spent almost the entire first day at Cardhalla! Masks were... a whole thing. About 20 feet away from Cardhalla were tables that said, "Take a mask break." So basically like you can sit here without a mask and no one will care. We were asked twice to wear masks, then got food and drinks, and this guy approached us and said, "You need to wear your masks." and we were like 'food', and he was like, "I've been watching you for 10 minutes and you haven't eaten." We kinda didn't want to get kicked out, so we wore them until we finished the base of our tower... then took cards over to the tables where tons of people were crowded around.... Sat for about 6-7 hours building the rest of our tower and not a single person said one thing because almost no one wore masks at the tables. I feel like it's just ?????? People only wore them where it was 'required' and no where else. Anyway, we finished our tower that night. XD

The next day, my brother wanted to play a game (Pathfinder) with his coworkers. He bought some really nice dice for each of us! Mine have flowers in them!!! And his have like a glitter that swirls around inside. Super cool! We basically just played that for a while, and then went to meet family for dinner.
The next day I bought a bunch of stuff, we went to the mall for food, played another game of Pathfinder, some crazy lady yelled at us with a megaphone (long story), and there was the destruction of cardhalla! We stayed to clean up, and then took home some of the cards. I was really disappointed that I couldn't find anything for Stranger Things though to buy... ToT

Then the last day, there was a guy in front of me in line at Starbucks with an Eddie Munson vest and I was like askdfjh We played another game of Pathfinder, I bought like two more things, then we got dinner and yeah... headed back to my brother's place where we both passed out, and then I drove home. X'D

Besides the convention, lots of work. I've gotten overtime at least a little bit every week. We also did a pitch in at work! I just brought cookies I bought at the store though lol

I made my mom a tie blanket! I've had the fabric since last black Friday, and just got around to it... X'D
I started on a cross stitch for my baby nephew, and got the yarn to crochet a blanket which I decided on a pattern for! :D
I helped my mom clean and go through some of my grandparents' stuff (on both side of the family). My grandpa went out of town to Washington, so we watched his cat. He also got a new kitten! My aunt just flew out here with him, but that's a September thing lol. My parents went out of town for two days as well. I had so many plans (clean and play music loudly XD) while they were gone, but literally I just worked and did homework the entire time asdfkjhdf

My Chemistry 2 class started on August 22nd, and there was a lot I wanted to get done before then that just didn't happen... Work has been exhausting. My first 'homework' assignment said it was supposed to take 70-85 minutes. It was due at 11:59 PM and I called my dad at 8:30 for his help with it... finished at 11:50 PM. The site also froze a few times. Then I had a 'knowledge check' to do. I was only able to answer 3 questions before 11:59, and everything else was counted as zero. It ended up as a 15%. I messaged my teacher to ask if he could somehow allow those points to be counted because of the site crashing, and he said no and that I should have had enough time. SO my grades are doing great...

So yeah. Idk, my month was mostly work honestly. I've been reading Stranger Things fanfics too. This month has been 98% Stranger Things fanfics with Eddie & Steve, with a very brief jump back to ATLA for like a day lol.

September will be a struggle though. I have four exams total in Chemistry, the first due on September 6th. I really need to do well on it so... rip

Also parts are kinda in order of what I like? But then I didn't want to end on Born for This, so I threw stuff after and wanted Everybody Loves Me at the end. XD
