Why do corporations think they need to use ebonics, slang, or jive talk in order to sell me stuff?
Today we're going to talk about black commercials or commercials used to target black people. This is going to be a brief history - post 1970s because everything that happened prior to that was dehumanizing. However, For the last 6-plus decades, according to The Atlantic, "The goal was twofold for corporations: to keep up with the times, and to broaden their potential consumer base."
