Everolimus (Zortress) is prescribed to help prevent rejection of a transplanted organ after surgery.

Guidelines for use:
Frequency is twice a day, 12 hours apart.
Never miss a dose, unless otherwise instructed.
Take with or without food.
For blood work, have your blood drawn 12 hours after evening medication and before your morning dose.
As your prescribed dose changes, write down new instructions as they are given to you.
Do not cut in half or crush.
