Just a little quiet side project. I have a few songs right now giving me some trouble in production and wanted to do something straightforward and in my comfort zone to feel like I was still making progress.

Bats flying by, shy wing flicker flitter flutter
To the shimmer, glitter glamour of the
Fireflies
Hooves on the ottoman
Books: got one, got two, got a lotta them
Cardigan blue, warm wool and mug of hot brew
Fill the tea pot new gotta start again
She’s so smart, call her Solomon; cute too
Maybe too cute, brute force brain with a screw loose
Drifting off to sleep, sweet dreams, in a book snooze

In the stillness of the reading nook
Shadows in leaves of the branches and the books
Both rustle in the breeze blowing gentle after midnight
And I want to spend the evening with Twilight

Candle wick wiggles
It holds the flame
Bee wax dribbles
Dripping like a golden honeydrop
Slowly rolling down the taper only stops
With the morning clock

Blue mane, two stripes, hooves like lavender and
Cute bright pupils in her peepers and they

Two AM comes and Two AM vanishes

Sandman banished we can sleep when fire dies

Is there anything more magical than meeting internet friends in real life? Yes. And thats meeting your internet friends cute plushies. Theres something so special about spending time with folks, having conversations way later than you ought, meeting new friends, new plush, and generally leaving the comfort zone of the internet to spend a weekend remembering that the avatars on your screen have faces too.
Ive had such an amazing time at HarmonyCon every year Ive been, and this was no exception. Thanks to all my dear friends with whom I got to spend this time. Lets do it again soon. Love ya. /)
