Sousou & Maher Cissoko playing Kora and guitar at beach in Senegal during our recording of the film ”Crossing Borders”.

The film tells the story of the meeting and collaboration of Sousou from Sweden and Maher from Senegal. They are both musicians and they meet when Sousou travels to West Africa to learn to play the traditional Griot instrument Kora.

A film about following your heart and about a how two different cultures can enrich each other when given the chance.
