Russell Moore is an evangelical who has criticized Trump and has made the news for this interview clip where he talks about conservative evangelicals rejecting Jesus for being too “liberal” and “weak”. This is totally new to me since I’m used to Christians twisting Jesus into some sort of Republican, instead of just accepting that Jesus is too progressive for them. Christian nationalism is on the rise and it’s reshaping American churches into becoming increasingly unsafe communities. Something has to change.
