Europeans, on the other hand, are miserable. Cycling everywhere throughout their bleak existence because they can’t afford a car, crammed on top of each other…
GDP! Disposable income! SOCIALISM!
10 years ago, I moved to Germany with no idea of what to expect — except that I’d get to ride trains, on trains, on trains, on trains.
But I didn’t just learn what it’s like to live in Germany or travel across Europe. I learned a lot about my home country — and 10 years of living in Europe has completely changed what I think of the United States and what makes us happy.
