This is a montage of gameplay clips from the GOG version of "Europa Universalis 2" (v1.09). It shows me achieving World Conquest in Fantasia scenario in 38 years and 10 months on Very Easy difficulty with Furious AI aggressiveness playing with Catalunya.
I was asked for more EU2 videos, which led me to realize I could beat the Fantasia scenario in much less in-game time than my previous 76 years run. I was hoping to finish in under 50 years with my new strategies, but I ended up doing far better than expected and finished in half the time it took me last time. XD
The images on the sides are there 'cause the original game's made for 4:3 resolutions, while modern displays use the 16:9 aspect ratio and I didn't want to just stretch the recording (like I did in some previous videos).
This was *not* an Ironman run - I used Save & Load to avoid losing easy fights due to bad rng and to make sure my colonists don't fail (I had to reload few 95% success fails during the run -_-).
I actually didn't record the clips during my run, but after it using the saves I made during my run, due to some difficulties with OBS. The screenshots of random events were made during my original run.
