Researchers from WEHI and global biopharmaceutical company MSD have been named joint finalists for the Eureka Prize for Infectious Diseases Research.

The nomination recognises the team's discovery and development of a new class of drug compounds designed to overcome drug resistance and reduce the spread of malaria.
