This WSoD is at the closing of my 1988 MCA Home Video VHS copy of E.T. :The Extraterrestrial video cassette as I was looking through on what tape to watch for today and in turn, I found this at the end of my video tape..
Now, on some tapes manufactured before the 1990s, you get a White Screen of Death in sync with a 1,020 hertz tone.and my copy of E.T.: The Extraterrestrial on VHS has that very same thing since the tape's from MCA Home Video.
Anyway, I've been looking at a few videos on YouTube and some of them had jerky camera movements while others are perfectly still like mine for example but yet, this is a new one for me to actually hear and SEE the White Screen of Death at the end of my VHS tape!
Note: I'm doing this for educational purposes only and do not condone to copyright infringement and also, yes, I had to doctor the video a bit by turning up the video's volume in Audacity in terms by amplifying it by 10.23 percent so you can hear me and my voice while sitting in a room by myself.
However, the White Screen of Death is WAY much more rarer these days! I actually find this a rather very cool and interesting find, honestly... although kinda weird but yet, I sometimes don't get it on why they actually call it the "White Screen of Death", though.
