This is the soundtrack to Konami's 1992 Famicom game Esper Dream 2 as heard in Esper Dream Memorial Best, released on August 21, 1992 by King Records. The game was composed by Shigemasa Matsuo (under the alias Otsumami Matsuo) and Manami Matsumae of Mega Man fame (albiet she was uncredited). It is also one of three games to use VRC6; the others being Akumajou Dracula (the Japanese version of Castlevania III: Dracula's Curse) and Mouryou Senki Madara (based on the manga of the same name). The plot as translated by DeepL is this: Every day, a boy named Mamoru stopped by the library after school to read a new book. One day, he was reading a new book in his usual seat; when suddenly a fairy who looked like a little girl appeared to him. She told him that the Book Worlds are in peril, and asked for him to help save them. Mamoru accepted her request, and so set off to save the Book Worlds.
