Espressif has released an upgraded version of the ESP32-C2 (ESP8684) chip—version v2.0. With this latest update, paired with the upgraded ESP-IDF, developers gain an additional 20 KB of SRAM and around 100 KB of flash space (depending on the application) for enhanced project development. In this video, we showcase the ESP32-C2 v2.0 in action, using ESP-NOW, ESP RainMaker®, and the Matter protocol, along with a dual-screen LCD and LEDs, to highlight the significant improvements in memory performance through a variety of practical examples.
