command to erase the flash chip
esptool.py --chip esp32 -p /dev/ttyUSB0 erase_flash
Command to flash micropython binary to ESP32
sudo python esptool.py --chip esp32 -p /dev/ttyUSB0 write_flash -z 0x1000 ~/Downloads/esp32-20181216-v1.9.4-757-g39eef2708.bin
(Don't forget to replace your binary path and USB device name)
