In this video we take a detailed look at the Open Nextion Genius Series ESP32-S3 LCD Touchscreen Development Boards, featuring both the 3.5-inch ONX3248G035 and the 2.8-inch ONX2432G028 models.
These powerful development boards combine a capacitive touchscreen display, ESP32-S3 dual-core processor, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, camera interface, digital microphone support, speaker output, and MicroSD expansion into a compact all-in-one platform designed for AI voice interaction, IoT devices, and smart embedded systems.
We explore the out-of-the-box experience, including unboxing, powering on the display, interacting with the pre-installed demo interface, and testing the smooth capacitive touch response.
We also demonstrate the Nextion Dual MIC Board, which allows two digital microphones to be connected for improved sound pickup and enhanced AI voice interaction performance.
The ESP32-S3 processor runs at 240MHz with 8MB PSRAM and 16MB Flash, making these boards capable of running graphical interfaces such as LVGL, processing camera data, and supporting lightweight AI applications like face recognition or voice wake-up systems.
With support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, camera modules, Grove sensors, MicroSD storage, and speaker output, the Nextion Genius Series opens the door to many exciting projects such as:
• Smart home control panels
• AI voice assistants
• Smart door locks with camera and voice recognition
• IoT dashboards and weather stations
• Smart photo frames and multimedia devices
Whether you're an ESP32 developer, IoT maker, or embedded systems engineer, these boards offer a flexible platform for building interactive touchscreen applications with AI capabilities.

![[IOT Projects #4] How to Post Data to Thingspeak using ESP8266 | MLX90614 | IoT Training
In the project demo video we have completed the configuration of thingspeak and arduino code to post the data to thingspeak channel.
On thingspeak we can plot the data on graph.
Connection Details.
Nodemcu has D1 and D2 pins. Connect it as follows
D1 of NodeMCU to SCL of Sensor
D2 of NodeMCU to SDA of Sensor
