• Description:
In this video tutorial I show you how to write firmware for the ESP32 (ESP-WROOM-32) to visualize sensor data in your projects. Specifically, I connect a 3-axis magnetometer (QMC5833/HMC5833) over I2C to the ESP32 and get heading data. The ESP32 also runs a web server which serves a webpage that uses the JavaScript library Babylon JS in order to render 3d objects using HTML5. I use the library to build a simple cylinder that allows us to visualize the orientation of the compass.
