Week 5 patch notes are out! Highland got fixed and only keeps stacks if you have the 5-piece at all times, meaning you have to body the set now or have it on both bars. The setup in the video no longer works :(

However, Charles did get 138K with Rele bow front, so y'all can do that instead. Other options are either the double arena bow setup, or Relequen (body)/Siroria (front) which also hits 136K+!

Special thanks to Evael and GoAvs34 for their valuable insights. We believe that ~80% crit chance is the sweet spot. Going past that may warrant sacrificing some of the crit for spell/weapon damage (e.g. Apprentice/Warrior mundus) or something else, which is what I did here.

Thief mundus is still really good. It puts us at 87-88% crit chance which gave me a very consistent 134K as well. But with such high crit from Highland, Apprentice mundus (+389 Spell Damage) gives us a higher ceiling without dropping our average DPS (at least not noticeably). As always, I encourage y'all to do your own testing to see what works best for you!

I also tested Velothi instead of Zaan which of course is really good too (133-134K avg). With Velothi, we lose some initial burst due to no Light Attack damage, but our execute is sped up with higher beam dps (almost 30K).

Q: Is Highland Sentinel viable in raids?

A: Yes, sometimes. You can definitely make it work in vKA and a few other trials (bosses only). Honestly, the only people that should consider this set is anyone wanting to push high parses or super hardcore players looking to min/max certain boss fights that allow the set.
