Loop Hell is a very common problem for people in DAWville. It is the equivalent of writer's block for music. Loop Hell sees people start many pieces of music, but finish none. The solution "Variation" is actually quite simple, but requires a bit of understanding (and practice) to allow it to overcome the prevailing fear. Here, I introduce the concept and main methods of using Variation to a) move past the first idea and b) join parts that have differences. Variation helps us build full pieces, even if the initial idea is a bit limited.
