In another case of an Aussie animal confusing Americans... an escaped emu brought traffic to a crawl outside Salisbury, Maryland, after wandering along a highway and leading state troopers on an hours-long chase.
Police said the bird was eventually caught with a dog leash and returned to its owners, despite briefly being struck by a vehicle while evading capture.
