I woke up to yellow orange skies and brought out my camera to film the morning glow. Did you see that Phoenix Rising in the clouds?

I was inspired and decided to make a pendant. I cut out the shape of the Phoenix in walnut on the scroll saw. Then I placed it in a tray and filled it with Resin, gold and orange Mica powders.

Turned the piece on the wood lathe and it came out pretty neat. What do you think? Let me know in the comments and share it if you liked it.
