I wrote and recorded this demo sometime in 2015. I used my faithful acoustic guitar, the nylon string one. It's the most comfortable song writing instrument for me I find. You can just grab it and start playing with no need for amps or power. So it's a good instrument for me for composing music. I recorded this demo with some basic drums. I used snare rim taps along with a kick and a shaker. The bass dances a lot around through the first half of the demo. After the first verse and chorus the bass drops off for some reason. I guess at the time I may have wanted to just get the song recorded for future work on it. I never did get back t finishing this tune though. The vocals are harmonized in a lot of parts but I did drop that at some point towards the end and just went with the main vocals. At the time I may not have been totally happy with this composition and let it sit for future work as mentioned before but It's got some nice sections and the idea is pretty well fleshed out.
