Reuploading because I slightly tweaked this strat by bleed infusing the rapier, and it's even more ridiculously fast. I use the Reduvia for the first 3 melee hits because the rapier will stagger Gideon in each instance and the strat will not quite work the same. This strat works because in the offhand, rapiers hit EXTREMELY quickly, and they have really excellent range. You can stagger Gideon out of literally any move before you can hit you, including his melee moves.

This works with a +5 Reduvia, I think if your upgrade level is much higher than that, tho, that he will phase transition after a couple ripostes. Perhaps if you have +9 here the damage would roughly equal out, tho.")

Alright, this is definitely more consistent than the last version, and this will definitely let you chain these sleeps indefinitely. The godskins will reach max sleep resistance after the 4th sleep, so this can keep going if you are just one on one. Also note that this was done with a +0 sword, so this is much more viable with a few upgrades.")
