Tinas Crafty Ink Spot ~Crafting & Card Making | Episode 35~Tissue Paper Watercolor & Techniques @tinascraftyinkspottinascra9638 | Uploaded May 2021 | Updated October 2024, 2 hours ago.
In todays Technique Tuesday, we are going to be doing a fun mixed media background technique using tissue paper. This technique can be used with most color mediums that can be diluted by water. It creates beautiful water colored backgrounds WITHOUT having to use watercolor paper. A fun and inexpensive alternative to using watercolor paper or mixed media paper.
Glue to white card stock or acetate for sturdiness. May also be die-cut for embellishments for cards.
Colors can be intensified on tissue paper by adding one or more layers of color medium, making sure to dry between each additional layer of color.
You will find sample cards on my blog post here: (available May, 25, 2021)
