Sketchbook B | EPISODE 10: ROBORHINO! - MY FIRST DIGITAL ART with my new HUION KAMVAS 13 DISPLAY TABLET! @sketchbookb | Uploaded May 2020 | Updated October 2024, 4 hours ago.
My name is Brent Florica, welcome to Sketchbook B! In this video I continue my Robo-animal city series based on the world of Mortal Engines! I had a blast with the Robofish last time in Episode 8, so I took some suggestions and decided to do a rhino this time with my new Huion Kamvas 13 digital display tablet!
Watch the Robofish drawing:

The roborhino was such a fun drawing for me, even as I moved away from my typical marker art, copic markers and micron pens. I am a total digital tablet beginner, as this is my first display tablet ever, but I'm loving it so far! I started with digital pencilling and inking, then moved through flatting and rendering. I really enjoyed digital colouring, and it definitely stretched me as an artist, but I'm really excited to see the new ways that this will help my journey of creative and artistic improvement on the channel! Hope you enjoyed the roborhino, I loved all the worldbuilding and storytelling aspects of it as I designed the piece, there's lots of little details to explore!
