This week we discuss why certain cultural institutions on the right do not discuss or work towards building new film movements or new art movements that can help build culture and community. Why do they not study history? Why do they not learn about and understand how film movements can shape culture? Why do they not see how profoundly similar our time is to the time that built the French New Wave? Why do they not understand that we can achieve far more than these filmmakers did at that time, and be far more successful if we tried? Why do they not even support good artists and tastemakers who can transform the culture for the better? How can we resolve this issue?
