"Not my will, but thine." Three times in Gethsemane, Jesus aligned His will with the Father's. This was not the posture of someone who didn't feel the weight of what was coming — it was the posture of someone who felt it fully and chose obedience anyway. In Part 4, we walk through the events of the crucifixion with a specific lens: what was happening in Jesus' body, His soul, and His spirit as He went to the cross.
We look at the cry "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" — and what that separation actually meant. We look at the words "It is finished" — tetelestai in Greek, meaning paid in full. We look at the tearing of the veil, the earthquake, and why Jesus said "Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit" as He breathed His last. And we look at covenant — how the cross is not a departure from God's covenant plan, but its fulfillment. Where Adam failed in obedience, Jesus accomplished perfect obedience. Where man could not keep covenant, Jesus fulfilled it.
The cross is not just an event in history. It is the turning point of all creation.
