Carlson writer/director and documentary filmmaker in Los Angeles, facilitated by the hosts of the Crazy Amazing Humans podcast, Katrina Carlson and Jefferson Denim, goes behind the scenes of the shooting of the award-winning documentary “The Heart of Nuba”. Hear Dr Tom’s remarkable story and how putting a lens to it masterfully changed the lives of people in a war-torn region of Sudan under the rule of Omar al-Bashir. Aurora Prize winning doctor, Tom Catena, is the ambassador for the Aurora Prize in Armenia and the sole doctor for the population of the Nuba region in Sudan.
