This video has been created by Arthur Stammet in May 2016 for the Fractalforums.com Annual Fractal Art Competition 2016.

The fractals have been rendered in Mandelbulb 3D and ArtMatic Designer. The Water Effect has been added in Filmora and the movie has been mounted, with its previously composed soundtrack, in Premiere.

In this movie, a very simple Menger Cube is immerged in some water, populated with pulsating fractal lifeforms and jumps out of this environment as an enriched, morphing object, brought to life by this contact. The initially straight light beams do now pulsate while passing through the modulated walls of this fractal being.

The choice for a color palette, reduced to the three fundamental colors of the RGB color-space, places this meditative work into its real - I mean mathematical and technical - context and adds depth to the movie: depth of the animation using pictures, which are deeply digging around intense Red, Green and Blue in order to reveal typical Mandelbrot-structures and -mandalas. The soundtrack, which has been composed for a ballet, called Incandescences, which has been created in the Theatre of Esch-sur-Alzette (L) in January 1990, consists in a very long, slowly morphing sound evolution, an infinitely calm, very slightly changing soundscape, organized around two explosions. $Cubic Rotations - Mandelbulb 3D fractal animation$ $Transformer - Mandelbulb 3D Fractal Animation This movie has been created in August 2017 and uses a soundtrack, composed in November 2007. The soundtrack, Trombopigmalimbas Dream, has been composed in November 2007 for the rainy days festival in Luxembourg and premiered in the St-Michel Church in a spatialized version. This soundtrack is a stereophonic mixdown of the composition, created exclusively with sounds, created by the author with a personal version of Traveler, a NI Reactor instrument. A remix of this musical composition has won the first prize in the category Exceptional music recordings in octobre 2009 in Banbury (UK) during the 58th IARC Recording Contest. The film uses the soundtrack as it is and is a visual interpretation of the music. The fractal animation, which has been rendered in Mandelbulb 3D, has been adjusted to the musical context by adding some effects and speed variations (Twixtor).$
