This movie uses three very deep zooms in a standard Mandelbrot Fractal and tries to explore infinity in a mathematical universe.
The choice for a color palette, reduced to the three fundamental colors of the RGB color-space, places this meditative work into its real - I mean mathematical and technical - context and adds depth to the movie: depth of the animation using pictures, which are deeply digging around intense Red, Green and Blue in order to reveal typical Mandelbrot-structures and -mandalas.

The soundtrack, which has been composed for a ballet, called "Incandescences", which has been created in the Theatre of Esch-sur-Alzette (L) in January 1990, consists in a very long, slowly morphing sound evolution, an infinitely calm, very slightly changing soundscape, organized around two "explosions".

The soundtrack, Trombopigmalimbas Dream, has been composed in November 2007 for the rainy days festival in Luxembourg and premiered in the St-Michel Church in a spatialized version. This soundtrack is a stereophonic mixdown of the composition, created exclusively with sounds, created by the author with a personal version of Traveler, a NI Reactor instrument. Its based on a very deep fractal zoom rendered with Fractal eXtreme and an electronic soundtrack, composed at the CNR (Centre de recherches) at Metz (France) in November 1987: Scherzo elettronico 2 - Drops climbing down the Waterfront. The fractal, which has a depth of 88260710400 iterations, explores a very minimalistic region of the standard Mandelbrot set. This very calm journey leads us to the tip of the frontal antenna of the set and lets us discover some mini Mandelbrots announced by a constantly growing condensation of wave-rays. These kindly psychedelic interruptions allow the appearance of some nice bends, leading to abstract heads with two eyes.
