In this video, we compare the weight of 7D nylon and various DCF fabrics.
Weight comparison of round samples:
7D 580T nylon 2.8g
0.55oz DCF 1.9g
0.66oz DCF 2.4g
0.75oz DCF 2.7g
0.95oz DCF 5.1g
There are relatively few European and American tent brands that use 7D nylon as outer tents. Most users buy tents using 15D and 20D 210T nylon.
This Korean 7D 580T nylon fabric has stronger and tougher tear resistance than ordinary 210T nylon fabric. But the weight is equivalent to 0.75oz DCF fabric. So the characteristics of 7D 580T nylon fabric are very light but also very strong.
The weight of Enran 1P 0.55oz DCF version is 725g, and that of 7D 580T nylon is 875g. If 0.75oz DCF fabric is used, it is equivalent to 7D 580T nylon version
Under the same template, the appearance of the two different materials of tents is also different. One feature of DCF is that it has little stretching force compared to nylon fabric. So in terms of space, nylon tents will be larger.
Then reviewing one of the characteristics of nylon fabric, nylon is a little more absorbent than polyester fiber. But in different parameters, nylon produced by different fabric brands, various fabrics also have many differences. So we only use fabric products from well-known fabric manufacturers.
