We’ll be discussing two of our recently released policy papers: Farewell Non-Doms: How non-dom reforms can damage Britain’s finances and Doms Away: Alternatives to the Abolition of the Non-Dom Regime.
The UK’s non-domicile tax regime will be abolished, as confirmed by Rachel Reeves’ first Budget. Our research shows that this could cost the UK economy £6.5 billion by 2035. Nonetheless, the non-dom regime is outdated and complicated, in need of reform.
