Tim Munyon wants to improve the quality of life for people in the workplace. As a professor and department head in the Haslam College of Business, Munyon conducts research examining how organizations can create optimal work environments.
"We spend most of our waking hours at work,” Munyon says. “If we can make those environments healthier and more effective—for both employees and organizations—that has a huge impact.”
Munyon’s studies range from exploring the positive outcomes of political skills to the advantages of hybrid entrepreneurship to the benefits of neurodiversity programs. Here at UT, his findings are helping students in the Anderson Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, where they receive start-up coaching and programming.
